Our Story

Have you heard of the saying, "you can't buy love but you can buy handmade, and that's kind of the same thing?"  This saying is what inspires and fuels me when I'm designing, creating, and sourcing my products. Each item listed in the store is carefully and lovingly made by hand, with the aid of hand tools and one or two machines.

Hi, I'm Tracy and DiammonShop is named after my two sons, Dieter and Ammon. I come from a family of inventors, artisans, and entrepreneurs. When I was a young child, I remember watching my grandmother in amazement as she turned her hand woven fabrics into beautiful clothing, with her foot pedal sewing machine. It was my  job to thread the needle each time the thread came out. She also taught me how to polish delicate clay pottery with varying types of stones when I was in kindergarten.

When my younger son Ammon was a toddler, I decided to venture into ecommerce, so I could continue to be a full time mom. I also wanted to find a way to use my business and communications training. Having an ecommerce store seemed like the logical path to take. So far, it's been an exciting journey!

My store is based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I'm very happy to see you here!
